Observation

Species: Brown-tailed Rock Chat (Oenanthe scotocerca)
Number: 2
Breeding:
Remarks: Seen perched then flying at 40-50m in glaring light. Pale throats sharply demarcated from grey-brown cheeks seem to eliminate Blackstart. General impression of chat, not flycatcher.. Compare WABDaB records from same place attributed to Gambaga flycatcher (5 Nov. 2018) and Brown-tailed rock chat (28 May 2019). Evidence suggests these are all encounters with a single resident species.
