RFOROA- Opportunistic observation - Immature -Flushed by survey - Veg. fixed dune - Small quails. Very uniform pale grey-brown including whole wings. Button quail shows more contrasting wings in flight. Harlequin quail also darker and more contrasting? Coupled with report of flightless young found by Habib during fire 10 days ago taken as evidence of opportunistic off-season breeding following good rains attracting exceptional numbers of quails to dense grasslands.Tim Wacher
