I slept at Tororo and from about 10 minutes before first light there was a continuous flight of spur-winged geese leaving the wetland for 25 minutes and thereafter they continued in dribs and drabs for another 15 minutes. Most surface water is gone by now, only Tororo, Al Am, Riguiek and Kindi still hold some in the Bahr Salamat area.
