1968-1989, all year: Prefers terrain with shade. Often calls during the hottest hours of the day, except in Feb-March (6 Feb - 20 April in 1988), with maximum intensity Aug-Oct. In favourable terrain calls 500 m apart. In dry bush the species is only found associated with few dense bush areas..
