Remarks:

1968-1989, all year: the most numerous of the turtle doves. To give an indication: on the same weekly morning round of 6 km, the number of calling individuals (at any distance) increases from 4 in May to 70 in September, 52 in December, 10 in January. From Jan-May, the species leaves the bush to concentrate around wetlands and gardens.
