Observation

Species: Red-necked Falcon (Falco chicquera) info
Number: 2
Breeding:
Remarks: Saw an adult pair harassing a group of magpies (the magpies appear to be breeding in a Ronier palm). The kestrels would circle around the Ronier palm and then dive down in and out the other side. Both the female kestrel and the male made these passes although the female never actually dove down through the palm fronds, the male, however, was much more agressive and made contact twice with the magpies despite the fact that he is much smaller than the female. The kestrels did this for a few minutes and then moved off down river.
