Identified by location and nape colour, but note broad tail plumes.
Le couleur de la nuque n'est pas un critère fiable apparemment. La Veuve nigérienne a une queue beaucoup plus longue (voyez les photos sur le stie WABDaB). Elle a aussi un hôte différent: non le Beaumarquet melba mais le Beaumarquet aurore, qu'on ne trouve pas au centre Tchad.
Nape colour is apparently not a reliable criterion. Exclamatory Paradise Whydah has a much longer tail (see the images on the WABDaB). It also has a different host: not Green-winged but Red-winged Pytilia, which does not occur in central Chad.
