Eventually, the Crows got tired of this game, and drew back, leaving the Kestrels alone. Later, they started attacking a Lanner Falcon - but that's another story ;-)

Amazing photos! Thanks for sharing this. We recently saw a Grey Hornbill fly at a fox kestrel. The kestrel just ducked, but the hornbill also left it alone after that.
